In 2008, I wrote the book, Marketing Campaign Development. Updated again in 2013, the templates and techniques are now available for anyone to download.

Marketing Campaign DevelopmentAs a marketing ops leader of a hi-tech company, I was constantly having to reinvent launch processes and templates. And so, I decided to write down the best practices and lessons I had learned over my 25 years of living in the hi-tech B2B marketing trenches. The central concept of this book revolves around the following two questions that continuously challenged me:

1) How do I figure out what my ideal, most effective marketing mix should be?

2) Once I figure this out, how can I best manage internal politics to bring this integrated marketing plan to life?

Turns out many other marketers were wrestling with these same questions. Since it’s publishing in 2008, more than 2,000 marketers from around the world have put these concepts, templates, and cross-functional techniques to use for their companies. The templates and examples, until now, were limited to the readers of my book.

I’ve decided to make these materials available to everyone now. You can gain access to the resources page here.

To my many readers, I say “thank you!” I have learned a lot from you, your feedback, and your ideas over the years. I invite you to rediscover the book, or perhaps share it and the templates with a colleague.

In addition, I invite you to check out my other materials, including two new online courses introduced this year. Udemy, my online course publisher, is running specials in November that you can take advantage of.

Mastering Product Positioning is a hands-on, fast pace course that guides you in producing focused and compelling positioning statements.

Create High Impact Personas in 4 Easy Steps is a practical and fun approach to illustrating B2B personas.

A new online course on the fastest way to create “customer-ready” messaging is coming in early 2015.

Enjoy! Kind regards,

Mike
